Titan Travel has increased agents’ commission for this month after it was confirmed it would lead Saga’s tour operations.
The over-50s specialist confirmed a merger of Titan and Saga Holidays in a trading update last week after Saga said it will work with “a smaller” number of travel agents.
The wider Saga Travel division, which also includes Saga Cruises, said Titan and Saga Holidays’ touring products were “highly complementary” and merged operations would “maximise efficiency”.
But it remains unclear if both brands’ ranges, or a condensed selection of tours, will be available.
Bonus commission can be earned on bookings made by February 28 for departures up to January 31, 2023.
Titan managing director Andy Squirrell said: “As a sign of appreciation for their continued support and to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to our trade partners, agents can earn bonus commission on all new Titan bookings made between January 24 and February 28, 2022, that depart up to and including January 31, 2023.”

Meanwhile, Titan has doubled its trade incentive for river cruise bookings on trips departing between April and May 2022.
Agents can now earn a £20 lifestyle voucher for every new Titan river cruise booking departing in in the period, if confirmed by February 28. This will be automatically handed to agents.
Edwina Coppock, head of trade sales, said: “Having missed two whole cruising seasons, April and May will see the return of Titan’s river cruises along Europe’s much loved waterways.
“This is a fantastic moment for Titan and the wider travel industry and we wanted to do something special with the trade to help celebrate these departures.”
She added: “Since the UK government lifted travel restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers, we’ve seen an increase in bookings for river cruises and advise agents to confirm any last-minute spring bookings soon, with limited availability left.”
Titan’s first river cruise in two years will depart on April 2: The Dutch Waterways and the Beauty of Keukenhof sailing on MS Serenade 1.
All bookings made before March 31, 2022, can be made using Titan’s £49pp Flexi-Deposit, which allows travellers to amend or postpone bookings as many times as they wish up to 75 days prior to departure.
