Windstar Cruises releases 2025-26 winter Mediterranean collection

Windstar Cruises has released its 2025-26 winter Mediterranean collection.

The line will operate six itineraries between October 2025 and March 2026, departing from Athens, Barcelona, Malaga, Rome and Venice.

All cruises will depart on 312-passenger Star Legend (pictured), which will call at Genoa for the first time in the line’s 2025-26 season, during a seven-day Europe’s Winter Riviera itinerary.

The sailing will depart Barcelona and call at Nice, Genoa and Livorno before concluding in Rome. Prices start from £2,410 and departures are available each month between December 2025 and March 2026.

In the 2025-26 winter Med season, Windstar will overnight in Dubrovnik, Venice, Nice, Barcelona, Malaga and Livorno.

An eight-day Winter in Italy & the Dalmatian Coast cruise from Rome to Venice will call at Naples, Messina, Dubrovnik and Zadar. Prices start at £2,569 for departures between December 2025 and March 2026.

To celebrate the release of the collection, Windstar has introduced an early booking offer for sailings secured by October 31, 2025, with $200 onboard credit per cabin, plus a free upgrade to an all-inclusive fare, meaning Wi-Fi, gratuities and drinks are available for no extra cost.

Additionally, winter Mediterranean sailings departing between December and February are part of Windstar’s ‘Star Group Sailings’ incentive programme, where agents can earn one free cruise for every seven sold.

President Christopher Prelog said: “Winter in the Mediterranean is a fantastic time to see a different side of this magical region, get to know the locals and celebrate special holidays such as Christmas in Florence, new year in Dubrovnik and Carnevale across Italy.

“Sailing year-round in the Mediterranean has been very successful for Windstar, so much so that we are now expanding our winter offerings due to its popularity.”
