American Queen Voyages is incentivising UK agents with shopping vouchers to join an online training academy.
The training has been developed for the UK and European travel trade by the US paddlewheel steamboat line’s GSA, Light Blue Travel.
Agents who register will receive a £10 Love2Shop voucher, plus another £20 on completion of the course.
Those going on to make a booking before September 30 will gain a further £50.
Light Blue Travel UK and Europe commercial director Michelle Daniels said: “Our training academy covers four key areas – history of American Queen Voyages; the fleet; the destinations; excursions & dining.
“Successfully completing these modules will make agents expert on all things American Queen Voyages and will give the confidence to successfully sell our North American river cruises.”
American Queen Voyages fleet consists of American Queen and American Countess cruising the Mississippi, Ohio, Cumberland and Tennessee rivers and American Empress on the Snake and Columbia rivers in the Pacific Northwest.
The company also operates 186-passenger expedition ship, Ocean Victory, in Alaska.
An expedition cruising module is being added to the training academy later this year.
