Clare Tobin takes up role at Majorca-based entertainment firm

Former Biblio Travel chief executive Clare Tobin has become non-executive director at a Majorca-based entertainment company.

Globo Balear Entertainment Group runs the Pirates Adventure Dinner Show which has attracted more than 3.5 million visitors over 35 years.

 Tobin, who previously held senior roles at Olympic Holidays, Tui and First Choice, said: “I am delighted to be working with an exceptional team whose professionalism and creativity is outstanding. 

“The recently promoted managing director Richie Prior has worked at the show now for 28 years. 

“The show has evolved making it the number one show in Majorca/Spain. We have exciting strategic plans to deliver the future growth.”

Founder Catherine Sasson said: “Clare is very much looking forward to her new venture in the world of entertainment and brings with her a wealth of experience gained from working in leadership roles across the travel industry. 

“Her roles have included 17 years at Tui, one of Globo Balear’s key partners. She will provide the business with invaluable support as we continue to pursue strategic growth opportunities over the coming seasons.”
