Dom Carrick departs If Only after 12 years

If Only has confirmed the departure of head of sales, south, Dom Carrick.

The Glasgow-headquartered luxury tour operator is now recruiting for a replacement for the role and said it will make an announcement on that “in due course”.

It asked agents in need of support to contact either sales director Tracy Doherty or head of sales, north, Gemma Pinder.

In a statement, If Only said: “Since Dom joined If Only over 12 years ago the company has gone  through a period of unprecedented growth and change.

“If Only would all like to thank Dom for everything he has achieved and for being a pivotal member of the team in helping shape If Only into the business they are today, the trade’s number one long-haul luxury tour operator of choice.

“Dom leaves the business with the best wishes for the future.”

It added: “If Only has a strong plan in place to support the continued development of the If Only brand via our trade partners old and new, and they will keep you all updated over the next few months about a host of exciting initiatives and improvements to our business to help further support our agents.

“Despite the current challenges facing our industry, If Only is confident the luxury travel sector will be the first sector to return, with huge levels of pent-up demand, and we are already seeing bookings increase dramatically over the last four weeks.

“We are all optimistic about seeing demand come back over the next 12 months and beyond.”
