Thomas Meyer is re-joining Tui Group to jointly manage resort brands Robinson Club and Tui Magic Life alongside managing director Bernd Mäser.
Meyer succeeds Tobias Neumann, who left the company at the beginning of the year, and comes as the Tui Hotels & Resorts brands are set for further growth.
He will be in charge of sales, marketing, pricing and operations while Mäser is responsible for finance, IT, technology, purchasing, development and HR.
Meyer was head of yield management and pricing at Tui Deutschland between 2001 and 2005.
He has since worked for companies such as Deutsche Bahn, Thomas Cook, l’tur and most recently international assignments for Emirates Group and as board member at consulting firm Involatus.
Tui Hotels & Resorts managing director Erik Friemuth said: “Thomas Meyer is a well-experienced tourism expert with strong sales background. He knows the industry from different perspectives and has been familiar with Tui for many years.
