Gold Medal parent dnata Travel Group has reduced the cost of the PCR tests it offers through a partnership with testing firm Randox.
Trade-only operator Gold Medal, and dnata’s B2C brands Travel Republic, Travelbag, Netflights and Sunmaster, announced testing ‘bundles’ last month.
The individual price of PCR tests it now offers have fallen to £43.
That means its amber package, which include a pre-departure test as well we day 2 and day 8 tests on return in the UK will now be £129, reduced from dnata’s previous price of £180, and less than the £295 it would cost a customer direct.
And dnata’s green package, which includes a pre-departure test and a day 2 test is now £86 – down from dnata’s previous £120, and compared to the £240 full cost.
Randox is a government-approved testing provider, and guarantees testing lab space. It plans new drop boxes to make it easier for people to return their tests.
