Inghams is restarting activity holidays in France and Switzerland this summer.
The operator plans to take people on walking, cycling and sightseeing holidays from July 31 for the first time since October 2020, stressing that it will only travel to destinations when the Foreign Common Development Office (FCDO) advises it is safe to do so.
Double vaccinated travellers to France and Switzerland are now not required to quarantine on return to the UK and the countries have removed their arrival quarantine for UK travellers. However, testing is still required when visiting France and Switzerland. Inghams is securing a discounted rate with testing suppliers.
Customers who are not yet double vaccinated and have an existing summer 2021 booking to France or Switzerland will be able to move their holiday for free to a later date until August 31.
Head of agency dales Julie Franklin said: “We are very excited to have two of our destinations open up for our agents to sell. Both, Switzerland and France offer some fantastic options for agents to offer their customers for a great European holiday with a difference.
“Having hosted a recent Swiss event we know the demand is there and we will ensure we support agents with social media activity to help with promotions.”
The operator is offering seven nights in Davos starting at £559 per person in September and Chamonix at £569pp based on two adults travelling.
Flights from Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London and Manchester are being offered with deposits of £150.
