Not in the Guidebooks starts recruitment drive

Not in the Guidebooks is to expand staffing levels on the back of a second crowdfunding campaign and further partnerships across the trade.

The experience specialist wants to recruit in key positions in product development and marketing, as well as its sales and operations areas.

Established in 2019, the firm has more than 8,000 travel agents registered to use its website and most recently forged a partnership with Gold Medal’s Incredible Journey’s brand. It also works with Travel Counsellors, Hays Travel, Midcounties Co op, Advantage and TTNG.

Founder and chief executive Carole Savage said the new roles will help support the business as it seeks to achieve its growth and development plans.

Savage added: “Since launching the business we have had incredible support from the trade, and we are now working with many of the UK’s leading travel companies.

“To ensure we continue to provide the best proposition and support to our partners, whilst investing further in the business, we now need to scale up the team. We would like to think that these positions will be attractive to those already working in the travel industry who are keen to work as part of a small but hardworking team that has big plans.

“We are developing a very special culture here, one where we are united by a love of travel.

“Together we are well on the road to creating a new dynamic business that allows fellow explorers to discover unique, authentic and sustainable experiences, the kind of experiences that create memories that last a lifetime, and our people play a massive role in our success.”
