Princess Cruises is gearing up to mark its 55th year of sailing to Alaska.
The 2024 season runs from May with the line deploying seven ships in the region in addition to running five wilderness lodges.
The expanded programme consists of 158 departures on 14 itineraries covering 17 destinations, including five glacier viewing experiences.
The season also features 91 visits to Glacier Bay National Park, including ‘Voyage of the Glaciers’ itineraries between Anchorage (Whittier) and Vancouver; and Inside Passage voyages from Seattle, San Francisco and Vancouver.
New for this year seven-day Inside Passage itineraries, many including Glacier Bay National Park, from Vancouver by Ruby Princess. The cruises cover four ports, including Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, along with visits to Endicott Arm and scenic cruising of Dawes Glacier.
More than 20 cruises combined with land tours include visits to the Denali National Park, Kenai Peninsula, Copper River, Fairbanks and Anchorage.
Two new cruise-tours have been introduced this year – a 15-night national parks trip and a nine-day itinerary including two nights in Anchorage.
