Switzerland Tourism said it hopes the campaign will raise awareness of the Swiss Travel Pass, a single ticket giving travellers the opportunity to have unlimited use of the country’s train, bus and boat network over three, four, six, eight or 15 days.
It also wants to highlight the Grand Train Tour of Switzerland, a 1,280km journey in eight stages stopping in cities including Lucerne, Zermatt, St. Moritz and Montreux.
The tourism board said: “The Grand Train Tour combines all the famous panoramic routes in one breathtaking round train trip and takes visitors to the country’s most famous sights in comfort and at their convenience.
“The unparalleled train journey can be experienced all year round anrd put together just as you like in terms of duration and route.”
