Senior leaders handed expanded roles at Global Travel Collection UK

Jason Oshiokpekhai is taking on an expanded role at Global Travel Collection UK.

He becomes senior vice president, advisor success, for GTC in the UK and US in addition to his current position as UK managing director.

Francesca Mendola will assume the role of GTC UK vice president.

In his new capacity, Oshiokpekhai will be responsible for overseeing the recently launched Advisor Success Organisation (ASO), designed to provide comprehensive support to GTC’s advisors.

His focus will be in driving growth, business consultation, expanding corporate sales, increasing advisor revenue, and implementing tools and resources to help advisors diversify their independent businesses.

Mendola will continue to oversee corporate account management, advisor success, business development, advisor recruitment, supplier relations, and PR and marketing teams in the UK.

Her elevated role will include supporting business growth and retention for GTC UK advisors across entertainment, leisure and corporate travel markets as well as managing the day-to-day business.

Oshiokpekhai joined the company in 2016 and oversaw the transition of Travel Leaders UK to Global Travel Collection UK.

Under his leadership, a strategic restructuring has been engineered to ensure delivery of high-quality shared services to GTC UK’s diverse clientele, according to the company, a division of Internova Travel Group including including Colletts Travel, Protravel International, Tzell Travel Group and Scotia Travel.

GTC president Angie Licea said: “Jason and Francesca have contributed significantly to the growth of Global Travel Collection over the years and have been integral to the establishment and advancement of the Advisor Success Organisation.

“In their elevated roles, we are excited for the even stronger synergy between our US and UK divisions, and a greater sense of collaboration across the business.

“We remain dedicated to supporting our independent travel advisors to deliver the highest levels of service.”
