Valamar is to launch two new all-inclusive luxury resorts in Croatia, representing the largest investment in the company’s history.
The Arba Resort, Valamar Collection, is due to be completed this year on the Kalifront peninsula on the island of Rab, while The Pical Resort, Valamar Collection is set to open in 2026 and will be the biggest single investment by the Croatia hotel company.
Both will provide family-friendly amenities, with the aim of setting a new benchmark for all-inclusive seaside resorts.
The Arba resort will be 5km from Rab’s old town and involves a complete overhaul of the existing property, Hotel Eva, to create a five-star resort.
It will offer 208 modern accommodation units, including family suites and the addition of a new ‘family residence’ with 22 family rooms, as well as new hotel entrance, reception area and bar, a spa with saunas, treatment rooms and relaxation areas.
The pool complex is being promoted as the resort’s highlight, featuring indoor and outdoor family pools with water attractions including in-out slides, waterfalls and water jets.
Facilities will also include indoor and outdoor family entertainment areas including the hotel’s Maro club for children aged three to 12, a game lounge with gaming consoles, and daily entertainment programmes.
In 2026, the resort plans to expand further with a new wing, adding 60 more accommodation units.
The five-star Pical Resort will be within walking distance of the old town of Poreč, aimed at families, couples and solo travellers. It will have 513 accommodation units, divided into three areas: Pical Suites, Pical Hotel, and a family wing, each with sea views.
Facilities will include Pinea Beach, a themed beach area with a beach club, indoor and outdoor pools, including an infinity pool. The resort will boast nine restaurants and nine bars. A promenade along the coast will offer a variety of sports and entertainment options.
The resort’s Maro holiday programme will offer dedicated family -friendly facilities and activities such as creative workshops, outdoor adventure zones and interactive game lounges, while its V Level option will provide private check-ins, access to premium areas such as the V Level pools.
It will also feature the Poreč Convention Center, with capacity for up to 1,200 people.
Sports options planned at the resort include tennis, cycling tours along the Parenzana trail and its own Valamar Water Sports complex.
