Visit Britain director Tricia Warwick will become chief executive at Visit Jersey on April 24.
She replaces interim chief executive Claire Lyons who took over from Amanda Burns, who joined GWR in January as sales and marketing director.
Warwick has worked as a director at Visit Britain for the past five years, responsible for seven markets: India, Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

She has also worked with British Airways, AEG Live and luxury hotel groups such as Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts, One & Only Resorts, Atlantis the Palm and Viceroy Hotels and Resorts.
Lisa Springate, Visit Jersey chair, said: “Her extensive travel knowledge, strategic mindset and leadership experience will be invaluable in leading the Visit Jersey team and working with stakeholders to deliver a vibrant, sustainable tourism industry.”
Warwick added: “Jersey is a stunningly beautiful destination with a unique character and so much to offer visitors from its people and culture, history and heritage, local produce and the great outdoors. I look forward to leading the team on our next chapter.”
