AmaWaterways creates agent WhatApp channel

A WhatsApp trade channel has been created by AmaWaterways to help agents keep up to date with the latest news, offers and incentives.

The new channel aims to provide a “safe and effective” way for the river cruise operator to quickly disseminate information, ensuring that trade partners receive the latest updates.

Sales director Andrea Stafford said: “Our aim is always to make it as easy as possible for agents to sell an AmaWaterways cruise.

“We know that many of them like receiving updates direct to their phone, so those who wish to can easily sign up to automatically get alerts with the latest news. 

“Our Facebook and Twitter (x) trade accounts are still active for those who prefer to stay in touch that way.”

Other sales tools include overbranded websites, brochures and flyers, as well as a travel agent portal featuring a series of educational webinars.
