Roddie MacPhee, a senior manager at Barrhead Travel, is celebrating his 60th anniversary in the travel industry.
Since he started in 1961, he has never left the sector and has worked for several well-known brands such as AT Mays and JetSet. He moved to Barrhead Travel 10 years ago.
As well as his role in Barrhead Travel, he serves as the Scottish representative for Abta and has served as president of of the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association (SPAA).

“I am certain his experience, knowledge and enthusiasm for the travel industry is second-to-none and we are lucky to call him a colleague and a friend.
“Celebrating 60 years in travel is a tremendous achievement and speaks volumes for Roddie’s commitment to our industry.
“He is well-known across the industry – not just for his time with various prominent travel brands – but his excellent work with Abta’s Scotland’s representative and his time as council and president with the SPAA.
