Michele Lawley has been promoted by BCD Travel to Europe president.
She steps up from her current position as senior vice president, Europe, for the travel management company on August 31.
Lawley is taking over from current European president Mike Walley, who is leaving the position to take on new responsibilities as member of the company of John Fentener van Vlissingen, founder of the BCD Group.
Based in London, Lawley, who has more than 35 years of insure experience, will report to BCD president and chief executive John Snyder as a member of the global executive team.
Snyder said: “Michele has been a driving force for many years in our commitment to driving innovation in our clients’ programs and efficiency within our own organisation.
“I’m delighted to welcome her to BCD’s global executive team and I’m confident that our diverse, complex European region will thrive under her leadership.”
