Clia is organising “a small number” of ship visits with places set aside for agent members as part of the trade association’s annual Clia Cruise Week, starting on September 20.
Details of how to apply to join one of the yet-to-be-announced ship visits will soon be made available on Clia’s website.
Clia members will have access to a new guide, featuring updates on cruise lines and river cruise operators with details about their existing ships and soon-to-launch vessels.
Guest articles about the resumption of cruises are to be published in a Clia newsletter and on cruising.org.
Agents will also receive visits from sales representatives from cruise lines in the ocean and river sectors, plus Clia team members this month.
Andy Harmer (pictured), Clia UK and Ireland managing director, said: “With cruise ships sailing again both in the UK and overseas, the trade support on offer via Clia Cruise Week and our activity across the month of September is particularly timely.
“We are calling on everyone in the cruise industry to take part throughout the month – whether that’s sharing their favourite cruise memories, joining us on a ship visit or simply brushing up on the latest information, as we look to continue the positive momentum.”
The trade can join the conversation online by using the hashtag #CLIACruiseWeek.
