New homeworking agency Destinations Desired has appointed Fiona Short as its first commercial and marketing director.
The company has been created as a travel homeworking company offshoot from Kosmar.
Headquartered in Sheffield, it is a member of the Travel Trust Association and aims to have 250 franchisees, called Tailor-Made Experts, by 2030.
Short joins from the fashion sector and has worked with online clothes retailer Depop, as well as presenting shows on BBC3.
She said she is “keen to support” Destinations Desired’s vision for sustainable travel, adding: “We’re here to listen and provide vital tools for our community, enriching and encouraging a healthy approach to the homeworking experience with Destinations Desired.”
Jhy Worsnop-Hesford, managing director, said: “Fiona’s success and knowledge will be instrumental in how our Tailor-Made Experts interact with their local and online communities.
“I’m looking forward to seeing Fiona’s expertise integrate within our business, supporting our Tailor-Made Experts with their business development.”
