Holidaysplease has hailed the impact of its “one-stop shop” online hub after it was unveiled to the company’s home-based agents at its conference last autumn.
The hub features 69 modules covering destinations and specialist areas including LGBTQ+ travel, as well as shareable images and practical information such as weather forecasts and foreign office guidance.
Information on the aviation industry includes airport modules, airline routes and virtual aircraft tours, while agents can also search for suppliers based on factors including their sustainability pledges.
The hub also features promo codes, supplier incentives, supplier booking guides and additional information on admin and financial protection.
Sales Manager Sue Preston said: “We built the HP Hub so that our agents have all the resource they need in one place, and so they can take ownership of their own learning and development.
“We have the ability to add and change content as the industry evolves. This is a great tool for our team and we are very proud of what we have created.”
When it was launched in October, Holidaysplease said a second phase of development was due to include modules focused on areas including sales systems and social media.
It also intends to introduce modules focused on its in-house tour operator Elegant Escapes.
