New BDM joins Inspire Group to support homeworkers

Charlotte Gallop has been appointed by Inspire Group as full-time business development manager to help support its growth plans.

She has re-joined the travel industry after spending the last two years in the recruitment sector.

Her earlier career in travel involved working in various roles for brands such as Going Places, Thomas Cook, Teldar Travel and Travel Counsellors.

Gallop will be actively seeking to recruit new homeworkers to Inspire, who trade under the name of Independent Travel Advisors, as well as running recruitment days and other events to support this growing division of the business.

She will also be responsible for working with the existing team of Independent Travel Advisors to support the delivery of their bespoke development plans.

Gallop takes over the role from Lorna Hardy, who has been supporting the business as part-time BDM. She recently decided to focus more on developing her own business as an Independent Travel Advisor, but will continue to provide training support to new home workers.

Inspire Europe managing director Lisa Henning said: “We are delighted to welcome Charlotte to Inspire, as well as welcoming her back into the industry.

“We have ambitious plans to grow our homeworking business and Charlotte will play an integral role in this. She is also a qualified business coach so will be an excellent resource and support for our growing team of Independent Travel Advisors.”

Henning added: “I would like to thank Lorna for all her efforts in this role. She has helped us develop a really strong team of Independent Travel Advisors who are all running successful, well-established and thriving business.”

Gallop will report to Sam Fisher, who was appointed head of business development in February.
