Neil Robinson has moved from his role as managing director of luxury agency Colletts Travel to take on the same position at Norad Travel Group.
He said he has been tasked with being a “key player” in growth of Hampshire-based Norad, which specialises in business travel.
The group also has two leisure travel retail outlets – Howard Travel in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, and Erne Travel, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh.
With a background in luxury leisure, corporate and MICE travel, Robinson will be seeking new areas for Norad’s growth, “including untapped markets within the UK”.
He reports to Iya Magen, chief executive of parent company Talma Travel, Israel’s largest travel management company, which also has a “strong footprint” in the luxury travel market.
She said: “Neil’s addition to the Norad team brings a unique blend of expertise, innovation, and passion that will propel our company to even greater heights.”
Robinson added: “Norad Travel has built an unblemished reputation for delivering exceptional service across all verticals of the travel industry for the last 35 years.
“I am thrilled with Talma’s backing and support to take Norad into its next stage of growth, including exploring new areas in the UK.”
