Norwegian Cruise Line’s latest vessel Norwegian Prima will offer a series of ex-Southampton cruises in 2025.
The line confirmed the UK deployment as part of a wider 2024-25 programme announcement.
Prima, which is capable of carrying 3,099 passengers, will sail 10 and 11-day ‘open jaw’ sailings from Southampton and Reykjavik.

Ports of call include Alesund, Flåm and Bergen, all Norway; Zeebrugge, Belgium; Akureyri, Isafjordur, both Iceland, and Dutch city Amsterdam.
The sailings, which are on sale now, run May to September 2025. Prices for the 11-day Northern Europe: Iceland & Norway to Reykjavik voyage departing on August 24 start from £1,829 with a 50% saving.
The line is offering 50% off all cruises and packages during its current Greatest Deal Ever promotion, which ends on Thursday, December 15. Passengers can access the 50% saving on packages if they pay £149 per person.
The packages include drinks, speciality dining, shore excursions discounts and WiFi credit.
Prima will reposition to New York and will operate 10 or 12-day Caribbean sailings between November 2024 and March 2025.

“Our itineraries are designed to provide longer port hours and less sea days to truly allow our guests the opportunity to dive into the cultures and destinations they are visiting.”
Norwegian Viva, the second yet-to-launch vessel in the line’s Prima class, will offer round-trip seven-day Greek Isles voyages from Piraeus (Athens) as well as open-jaw sailings from Haifa, Israel.
The ship will call into Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, and Iraklion, all Greece.
For the second year, Viva will homeport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from December 2024 and April 2025, offering southern Caribbean sailings.
Between April and October 2025, Norwegian Breakaway will offer a series of nine and 10-day round-trip Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona.
The itineraries include calls to Ibiza, Spain; Cagliari, Naples and Civitavecchia, Italy.
Norwegian Escape will sail seven and 14-day Caribbean sailings from Galveston, Texas, between December 2024 to March 2025.
Norwegian Joy will homeport in Seattle between April and October 2025 and offer nine and 10-day round-trip Alaska sailings.
Norwegian Encore will pass through the 40-mile Panama Canal during its 21-day Extraordinary Journey, starting on October 13, 2024.
The itinerary begins from Seattle and includes calls to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Mexico; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Panama City, Panama; Cartagena, Colombia; George Town, Grand Cayman and ending her voyage in Miami.
