Oceania Cruises has restructured its UK and Ireland sales team after sales director Priti Mehta left the business.
Louise Craddock (pictured) has been promoted to fill the role vacated by Mehta, who joined the line in April 2015.
Craddock has been tasked with supporting the line’s agent partners as well as developing the existing sales team, which includes Alex Farquharson, who is now senior key accounts manager, and James Scott, who has been promoted to sales manager for the south.
Before her promotion, Craddock held the role of sales manager for the south. She previously worked for Royal Caribbean as a sales manager until 2012 when she moved to Oceania.
Oceania said it is “well on the way” to recruiting a sales manager for the north.
Bernard Carter, senior vice president and managing director, EMEA, said: “This is a critical and exciting time for the global cruise industry, and this restructure puts Oceania Cruises in the best possible position to work effectively and efficiently with our trade partners.
“Louise has been a valued member of our team for almost 10 years and her stepping up to sales director is a fantastic opportunity to utilise her exemplary brand and industry knowledge and business acumen, combined with her tenacity and drive to take the Oceania Cruises UK sales operation into a new era.”
Craddock said: “This is the perfect time to re-energise and re-engage with our fantastic trade partners, and I have a brilliant team to support these partners, and me in my new role.”
Carter also paid tribute to Mehta for her stewardship of the UK sales team and her support during her six years with the line. She leaves to pursue “a new career opportunity”.
“I am expecting great things for her over the coming weeks, months and years,” he added.
