Panache Cruises clinches first US booking worth $124,000

Panache Cruises secured $124,000 booking in its first sale since entering the US with a base in Texas two weeks ago. 

The booking by the luxury cruise agency was for a a 21-night itinerary to Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falklands by new ship Seabourn Pursuit departing in January 2025.

Founder and chief executive James Cole said: “We didn’t believe it at first, and I am still in a state of shock.

“We have been working hard to establish the business in the USA over the last few weeks, and to make this sale so early on in our American journey is truly amazing.  We are all delighted obviously.”

The agency’s US business has initially launched offering sailings with Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Silversea, Azamara, Oceania, Seabourn and Explora Journeys.

Other luxury cruise lines that operate within the river, yacht and expedition sectors will follow.

A soft launch of the brand took place on July 4 followed by the introduction of a US website, consumer advertising campaign and a targeted social and digital push raise company awareness.

More than 8,000 luxury and ultra-luxury cruisers have been attracted to its data base sine the official US launch of the business on July 23.

Cole added: “Getting this sale so early on in our expansion in the US gives us great confidence for the future.  

“So far, we have had a hugely positive response from our marketing efforts, and I believe more than ever that our unique customer service proposition will prove very popular in this vast market.”
