Stuba updates special requests booking process

Stuba has updated its special requests booking process, making it quicker for agents to access.

Previously, agents had to wait until the end of a booking to fill in a form to process a special request.

But they can now tick a box to request interconnecting rooms, VIP treatment, low or high floors, twin or double beds early or late check-ins or note about special occasions such as birthdays, weddings or anniversaries.

Agents are also now able to copy the same requests over to other rooms in the booking or keep the requests to individual rooms.

Head of sales for the UK and Ireland, Angela Muir, said: “This is another improvement that has been made to the website following agent feedback. We have made this addition to speed up the booking process for agents.

“Agents can also review the requests on the final details page and they will also be highlighted on the voucher. Obviously, with these type of requests, they will be passed on to the hotel, however, we are unable to guarantee requirements will be met. We do embrace agent feedback and react to it, so I’m delighted that this is now a feature.”

The tick box link applies to non-guaranteed requests. Any requests for accessible rooms or guaranteed requests will still need to be made via the help form at the end of the booking.

Stuba celebrates its 30th anniversary of trading throughout 2021.
