Switzerland Tourism and Swiss Travel System have invited UK travel agents to find out more about the destination at four roadshows later this month.
The pair will be joined by transport partners – Bernina Express/Glacier Express, Lake Lucerne Navigation Company and Matterhorn Gotthard Railway.
The evening events in Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham and the lunch in London aim to be “informative and interactive”, with prizes to be won.
The Glasgow event will be at The Savings Bank (April 25); Manchester at Malmaison (April 26); and Birmingham at Hyatt Regency (April 27). They will be from 6pm-9pm.
The lunchtime event in London will be at St Moritz Restaurant, Wardour Street on April 28 from 1pm-3pm.
A new promotional film was recently launched starring Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer, who is a global brand ambassador for the Swiss tourism board.
The three-and-a-half minute film aims to position Switzerland as an attractive travel destination with a focus on rail travel.
