Travel Counsellors has said its corporate travel arm is averaging sales of £5 million a week, up from the £4.5 million average seen over the past few months.
The business travel division of the homeworking agency is currently trading at 110% of 2019 levels, showing that the industry is “recovering stronger than ever”, it said.
The US is Travel Counsellors’ top business travel destination, followed by the UK, South Africa, Spain and France.
Kieran Hartwell, Travel Counsellors’ managing director for corporate travel, said: “We are thrilled to see that corporate bookings are going from strength to strength; and that they are surpassing 2019 trading.
“Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are looking for human expertise on travelling and we’re delighted that they are coming to us for that trusted travel advice.”
