Homeworking agency Travel Counsellors has been named as one of the ‘Best Places To Work’ in the UK for 2024 by The Sunday Times, in collaboration with WorkL.
This annual accolade highlights the nation’s top employers, “spotlighting those with exceptional levels of employee engagement and wellbeing”.
It also recognises those workplaces excelling in promoting an environment that supports inclusivity for women, LGBTQIA+ communities, ethnic minorities and employees with disabilities – as well as enabling colleagues of all ages to make a key contribution to the company.
Travel Counsellors said this is the third time it has been included in the list, “a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to creating a special company culture and supportive work environment”.
The award submission included a written entry and survey of more than 300 technology and support team colleagues based at Travel Counsellors’ headquarters in Manchester.

Tui ranked among top 10 best big company employers in UK
The company exceeded an 80% satisfaction rate across all areas of the six-step framework and an average happiness score of 82%.
Further results revealed that 87% of colleagues at Travel Counsellors said they feel proud to work for the organisation and feel treated with respect, 85% enjoy job satisfaction, with more than 80% agreeing that their employer cared for their wellbeing and that they are happy and feel safe in their work environment.

Meanwhile, Loveholidays was ranked as one of the best ‘big’ companies to work for, after featuring in the medium-sized category in 2023.
Its inclusion on the list was determined solely by an employee survey, with a focus on engagement, wellbeing and overall job satisfaction.
The OTA has grown its headcount by 32% since May last year to fuel its growth, having firmly cemented its position as the UK’s third largest Atol holder in the latest round of renewals.
Tui and easyJet holidays were also named in the list, published at the weekend.
