Prestige Travel will reward its top-performing agents with a luxury Thames cruise event in the summer.
The operator said the event will also celebrate a record-breaking peaks period, with an “exceptional performance” in January and February.
The invitation-only event will see 50 top-selling agents embark on the cruise on a replica paddle steamer, along with a meal, presentations, entertainment and networking.
Joe Lavers, trade relationship manager at Prestige Travel, said: “We had a great year in 2024 but the start to 2025 has been truly incredible and we wanted to reward our top agents with a great event to celebrate their support.”
During January and February, turnover increased 30% year on year, while enquiries rose 25% and 20% more retail agents contacted the operator for quotes.
All destinations have shown “impressive gains”, added Lavers.
The Canada and US programme continues to “thrive”, while the Australia and New Zealand segment recorded a 57% growth in the first two months of the year.
Croatia emerged as a “standout” short-haul market following the launch of a dedicated brochure in November 2024, generating an 81% increase in bookings.
Lavers said one key driver for this success is high service levels for agents.
During January, the operator’s busiest month for sales and enquiries, the average call answering time was 12 seconds.
“A massive part of our success is our team’s exceptional expertise and experience in putting together tailor-made itineraries,” he said.
“With clients becoming more and more demanding, the level of service we provide our agents is vital to our success.”
