Wayne Durkin has been named by Travel Counsellors for Business as new head of business development.
He brings more than 25 years’ experience in the travel industry with a focus on business development and the SME market to the newly-created role, having previously held the position of director of business development at travel management company CTM.
His career includes roles at TMCs including Clyde Travel Management, Good Travel Management, Meon Valley and Griffin (now ATPI).

Durkin will lead the direct sales strategy at Travel Counsellors for Business, oversee new client acquisition targets and expand the business development team.
He previously worked with corporate travel director Mel Quinn at Clyde Travel Management.
