Travel Counsellors unveils ‘love what they do’ campaign on Valentine’s Day

Homeworking agency Travel Counsellors has unveiled details of its internal campaign ‘Love what you do’ to coincide with Valentine’s Day.

The initiative has been created to recognise and reward franchisees for “excellent work”.

Agents and colleagues can use the company’s in-house community platform ‘TC World’ to make nominations.

Winners are announced each day and awarded with a bottle of bubbly and recognised on the company’s TCTV channel to showcase their work and “why they love what they do”.

So far, winners have included a Travel Counsellor who received 10 out of 10 customer satisfactions scores this year; a corporate specialist who expanded her offering to her business clients by working with leisure specialists; and a TC mentor who is inspiring new recruits.

Jim Eastwood, sales director at Travel Counsellors, said: “We have recently seen a spike in enquiries from travel professionals, who are looking to return to the industry and do what they love.

“A third of our enquiries have been from those who are returning to travel since leaving due to the pandemic.

“Our community have had a phenomenal start to the year, breaking records with nearly 400 of our business owners celebrating their best-ever sales month in January.

“This is down the incredible care they show to their customers, with stories being shared across the community about how they consistently go above and beyond to ensure their customers have the best travel experience.

“They are also working more and more in ‘TC Teams’ supported by our technology to facilitate this, so we felt February was the perfect opportunity to surface some of the amazing stories across our business and reward and recognise why our people love what they do and why customers love their Travel Counsellor too.”

Last month, Travel Counsellors announced its best January on record, reaching £114.5 million in sales.
