Uniworld has hosted 20 Not Just Travel ‘Circle of Excellence’ agents at a training day in London.
The river line hosted the event over afternoon tea and champagne at the five-star London Milestone Hotel, with training on its fleet, incentives and customer profiling.
Not Just Travel introduced its Circle of Excellence in June, offering an initial 15 agents additional mentoring, support and training in recognition of them hitting cruise sales targets.
Chris Harrison, chief commercial officer, said: “We are creating and cultivating an elite, highly skilled working group of consultants to focus on the ultra-luxury market. On the same day as the training, we already delivered value back to our key cruise partner Uniworld with a £25k booking enquiry. There is lots more return on investment to come for Uniworld, our valued partner.”
Senior business development manager for cruise Duncan Croucher added: “We now have 31 members who can join bi-weekly collective forums which focus on different aspects of cruise. [The forums] cover subjects such as strategy for 2024 and how to grow the river cruise market.”
Not Just Travel consultant Andy Richardson said: “To have exclusive access to a top luxury cruise brand for a day is gold dust. The sheer breadth of the Uniworld offer around the globe is impressive, and so is this training.
“I’ve learned so much that I know I will convert into more bookings. I’m proud to be part of Not Just Travel’s Circle of Excellence and look forward to the future opportunities Not Just Travel presents for me and my business.”
Fellow consultant Rachael Coyne added: “It was such a fabulous day of great insight and learning. I feel very privileged to be invited to such a useful and sumptuous event.”
Not Just Travel plans to hold a similar training event with another unnamed luxury cruise brand at a country house hotel in November.
