Virgin Voyages backs new booking platform with $100,000 commission bonuses

A new booking platform developed with feedback from travel agents is being introduced by Virgin Voyages alongside $100,000 in commission bonuses.

LetsGoBook is described as an “advisor-friendly” interface offering a simpler, intuitive system that takes the friction out of the booking process.

The two-ship line claimed the streamlined functionality enables agents to make bookings in five steps via the Virgin Voyages website.

The first 2,000 new bookings made using the LetsGoBook link will include a $50 (£42) cash commissions bonus.

Agents also receive one entry per booking to win a seven-night trip to Necker Island, Sir Richard Branon’s private estate in the British Virgin Islands.

Every booking still includes the adults-only line’s 16% commission alongside the elimination of non-commissionable fares (NCFs).

John Dioro, vice president of North American sales, said: “Our First Mates (agents) asked for a more streamlined and straightforward booking platform, and we’ve delivered.

“Every agent can use the link to make a booking in less than two minutes or choose to share the link with their clients.

“This new, easy-to-use interface saves First Mates time on the historically tedious booking process so they can dedicate more time helping their Sailors (passengers) curate an unforgettable vacation aboard our ships.”

International sales vice president Shane Riley added: “Our customer happiness ratings are in the mid-90s and we are seeing rebooking rates at high as 50%, demonstrating to our First Mates (agents) that they can feel confident recommending this extraordinary experience to their clients and earning incredible perks while doing so.

“We want to continuously raise the status quo and do so by offering competitive 16% commissions with no NCFs, agent programmes, support on-demand, educational tools, brand swag and access to key sailings.”
