A three-year pact to boost tourism to Abu Dhabi has been signed between Etihad Airways and the Gulf state’s Warner Bros. branded indoor theme park.
The commercial deal covers several collaborations aimed at increasing tourism to Abu Dhabi
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi opens on Wednesday, complementing other attractions available on Yas Island, reinforcing the island as a destination globally.
The 1.65 million sq ft park features 29 rides, interactive family-friendly attractions and live entertainment across six areas.
As airline partner, Etihad Airways will work on areas of brand partnership, marketing, in-flight programming and travel trade support.
The carrier’s chief commercial officer Robin Kamark said: “We continually look for ways to showcase the very best of Abu Dhabi as we bring international tourists from around the world to our home.
“This relationship will solidify our commitment in ensuring our guests have a memorable travel experience in the air and on the ground.”
