Escorted tours specialist Leger Holidays has launched a brochure for the Scottish market, and weekend packages to see Formula 1 Grand Prix races in European cities.
The Scottish brochure features tours which offer the operator’s new Tourlink service, which gives customers travelling from Scotland the option of coach transfers and overnight stays in southern England, on selected dates and tours.
Customers can break up their journey with an overnight stay in the Mercure hotel, Watford, before joining their main tour coach – and it offers the same upon their return to the UK.
The dedicated brochure for Scottish agents features European and worldwide departures available to the market north of the border.
The programme offers coach tours as well as holidays by air.
Prices start at £569 per person for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Stirling & the Trossachs coach touring holiday. It includes four nights’ hotel accommodation and coach travel.
Meanwhile, the operator has unveiled weekend packages by coach and air to see Formula 1 races in Monaco, Belgium, Spain and Germany.
Prices start at £519 per person for a four-day coach trip to see the Belgian Grand Prix, departing on August 30.
It includes three nights’ accommodation on a bed-and-breakfast basis; entry ticket to the Belgian Grand Prix qualifying session and Belgian Grand Prix race day; and coach transfers to the race circuit.
Ashley Dellow, head of retail sales, advised agents to start promoting F1 packages as the 2019 championship has just begun.
Fans can follow the progress of British driver Lewis Hamilton, who will be defending his 2018 title against challengers such as Sebastian Vettel.
