Jet2 adds nine new routes for summer 2020

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has expanded its summer 2020 programme with nine new routes alongside more seats on sale from six of Jet2’s UK bases.

Customers travelling from Belfast International, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle will have more choice when choosing flights and holidays next summer.

From Birmingham the carrier will fly weekly every Wednesday from May to September to Kefalonia. Services will run every Monday, Friday and Saturday to Nice with twice weekly Monday and Friday flights to Murcia from May 22.

The carrier’s existing winter route from Birmingham to Budapest will additionally operate into the summer months every Monday and Friday.

Jet2 is also adding three new destinations from Stansted, with a route to Murcia on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from May to October. Weekly Saturday departures to La Rochelle and Bergerac are being added.

From Newcastle, the carrier will be adding a service to Kos every Monday from May to October.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “The UK government has confirmed that flights to our EU holiday destinations will continue just as last year, providing assurance that, whatever the outcome of Brexit, holidaymakers can continue to book holidays with confidence.

“With nine brand new routes, more seats on sale than ever, and even more exciting news on its way, we are once again demonstrating our commitment to our customers. With more choice and flexibility for customers and independent travel agents to choose from, we are confident that this summer programme will be a huge hit with local holidaymakers.”
