Travel agents can earn a host of rewards with Saga’s new agency programme, running throughout 2020.
Called Saga Stars, the scheme offers participating agents £1,000 towards a European holiday, an invite to a VIP event on Spirit of Adventure and a fam trip place.
The over-50s specialist is seeking six “star travel agents” who act as ambassadors for Saga but may increase the number if there are large numbers of applicants.
Agents will also be invited to Saga’s Christmas lunch, and receive special visits and marketing support from the trade team.
Furthermore, they will join a trade day at Saga’s Folkestone head office, with a free overnight stay.
One member of the group – the Saga Super Star – will receive £500 towards their Christmas shopping next year.
Entrants do not have to meet the over-50s age requirement that applies to Saga guests, but they must have completed a Saga Experts programme.
Agents can nominate themselves or a colleague by emailing trade.events@saga.co.uk by December 20, 2019, outlining why the candidate should be considered. Saga will also welcome supporting videos.
Saga Stars will run from January 2 to December 31, 2020, and agents will need to reapply for the 2021 programme.
Judges are seeking loyal agents who support Saga through groups such as Travel Gossip and Travel Squawk and act as ambassadors for the brand within their own business.
