Oceania Cruises is the latest cruise line to welcome Jane McDonald on board one of its vessels.
Cruising with Jane McDonald’s new four-part series on Channel 5 features the line’s 1,250-passenger Marina ship on a voyage from Rome to Malaga.
Marina is due to go into dry dock next summer for an overhaul as part of the line’s Oceania NEXT revamp programme.
Improvements include an all-new coffee bar area and the addition of a new lounge on deck 14.
Marina’s 200 Concierge and 244 Veranda staterooms, along with the 124 Penthouse Suites, will all have new soft furnishings.
The Bafta-award winning show has featured numerous cruise lines, many of which have reported a boost in booking enquiries after airing.
Bernard Carter, senior vice president and managing director, EMEA, said: “We are delighted to have this fantastic opportunity to showcase the incredible Oceania Cruises experience to a national TV audience.
“It was a pleasure to host Jane on board Marina, and we are thrilled she had such a great time, both on board and exploring ashore.
“We at Oceania Cruises take pride in offering the finest cuisine at sea, and this programme really highlights the incredible epicurean experiences available both onboard our ships, and in the different destinations we visit.”
Cruising with Jane McDonald airs on Channel 5 on December 6 at 9pm.
