Explore is offering 15% off on more than 150 itineraries, and 15 places on an agent fam trip to Turkey.
Ten places are available for the agents who sell the most Explore trips between January 2 and February 6, while the remaining five will be selected from a prize draw of all agents who made at least one booking during the same period.
A custom itinerary has been designed for the fam trip which include visits to the beaches of Kas, the ancient sites of Aphrodisias and Ephesus and the Taurus Mountains.
Explore’s January sale includes the 13-day Cycle Japan tour priced from £4,082 per person, including flights, accommodation, some meals and an Explore leader, which represents a saving of £630.
Agents can also save £354 per person on the Explore Costa Rica 15-day tour with prices from £2,532.
Ben Ittensohn, head of global sales for Explore, said there were plans to increase the trade sales team and provide greater support and sales resources.
“We want to get agents experiencing our products so they can sell more small group tours and grow the sector,” he said.
“With the trade, it’s getting more resources to them and focusing on brand awareness and sharing the benefits of small group tours.
“We have got plans to grow our business development team this year. We have three on the team now, and we plan to have four to five in the next couple of years.
“If we keep seeing growth, we will need to support the trade so we can continue to offer support.
“Over time there will be someone dedicated to the north, then the southeast and eventually Northern Ireland.”
Looking further into 2020, Ittensohn said: “There will be an agent sale programme and we will continue to evolve assets we send travel agents. There will be greater support and sales resources.”
