Monarch Travel Group sales manager Simon Garrido has been promoted to head of trade sales.
He will be responsible for the Cosmos and Avro group’s trade distribution strategy across all brands and channels as well as overseeing the line management of the field-based sales team.
Garrido has been with the group for three years and previously worked for Global Travel Group and Avis Europe.
Sales director Gary Anslow said: “Simon has made a valuable contribution to developing successful commercial partnerships with our trade partners in the last few years.
“This is an exciting time for the group as we complete a business transformation and I’m confident that Simon’s drive and experience in his new role will ensure the success of our distribution strategy.”
