Royal Caribbean International’s regional sales manager Colin Rillie is to join MSC Cruises as a national account manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Rillie, who has worked for Royal since 2010, will start his new role at MSC on November 28.
Country manager of MSC Cruises UK and Ireland, Antonio Pardiso, said: “To support our growth in the UK and Irish market and to reinforce our collaboration with key travel agents, we are pleased to announce that Colin Rillie will be joining MSC Cruises UK as national account manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
“In his new role, he will be expanding our trade partnerships in the region, tapping into his extensive industry knowledge and strong network.
“We are really excited to have him join us at the end of November.”
Rillie’s move comes three months after Royal Caribbean’s former head of sales Steve Williams also left to join MSC Cruises.
Williams, who had been with Royal for more than 10 years, took on the newly created role of director of sales for MSC’s UK and Irish operations.
