Our Bulgaria operation is much bigger
I REFER to your Eastern Europe feature (Travel Weekly May 1).To devote half a page to the destination and not mention Balkan Holidays does not give an accurate picture of current tourism trends in Bulgaria.
The tour operator mentioned will operate a very small programme as it only uses the scheduled service from Heathrow via Sofia. Balkan Holidays operates direct charter flights from eight UKairports to Varna and Bourgas, serving all resorts along the Black Sea coast as well as winter ski holidays to Borovets, Pamporovo and Bansko. We are also totally committed to working with the trade, selling 95% of our holidays through travel agents.
We welcome new tour operators but Balkan Holidays should have been included.
