New strategy to personalise sales service
AIRTOURS will use its integrated technologies to offer clients a more personalised service and improve upon its direct marketing techniques, said group managing director Tim Byrne. He said the new technology would enable Airtours to find out more about its clients.
This will enable the operator to store vital information such as personal preferences that would allow Airtours to offer them the right products at the right time.
The technology will also be used to market products to clients in-flight, on-board cruise ships and in resorts to maximise Airtours’ share of clients’ spend in resorts.
“It will be available on most of our 53 aircraft and in 40,000 hotel rooms and 4,000 cabins,” said Byrne.
“We will know where our customers are sitting on flights and what room or cabin they are in and we will be able to provide them information on excursions, financial services and all other Airtours products.”
