Bank pioneers exchange service
A SOUTH African bank has pioneered a new money-changing service in a bid to eliminate queues at the counter.ABSA Bank is to employ couriers to issue Money Packs on trains and coaches. The couriers will exchange sterling, US dollars and German marks for South African rand for passengers while travelling.
ABSA international banking centre representative Carlos Montiero said there are often queues at the banks when tourists arrive.
