British Airways has promoted Louise Fowler to the position of managing director of Brymon Airways. She was previously BA general manager southern Africa.


n disney continues anaheim expansion


Walt Disney Attractions will open a second theme park at Disneyland on February 8 next year. The development, part of a $1.4m expansion plan at Anaheim in California, will have three entertainment areas – the Paradise Pier, the Hollywood Pictures Backlot and a California-themed zone called The Golden State.


n british midland starts frankfurt flight


British Midland launches four daily weekday flights from Birmingham-Frankfurt today. A 49-seater two-class Canadair Regional Jet will operate the route.

Hertz has been awarded a contract to operate from London City Airport in a five-year deal which will start this summer.
