A&K introduces new destinations

UPMARKET operator Abercrombie and Kent has added new itineraries and destinations to its newly launched 2000/01 cruise programme.


The cruiseliner Explorer will now head to the Atlantic ports in France, Spain and Portugal and the White Sea of Russia in addition to the its existing Lost Islands, Classic Antartica and Upper Amazonitineraries. New itineraries on the 100-capacity Explorer include a 21-day expedition to the Falklands and south Georgia which costs from £7,945 per person and includes flights, transfers, bed-and-breakfast in Santiago, tour guide and sightseeing excursions.


The operator is also featuring a 21-day expedition to Antartica, South Georgia and the Falklands. Prices start at £7,820. A discount of £300 per person applies for bookings before June 30.


Abercrombie and Kent managing director George Morgan-Grenville said:”In response to demand the Antarctic itineraries have been expanded to include greater emphasis on The Falklands and South Georgia.”
