Breakwell flags preferential tactics

Expedia vice-president international Simon Breakwell urged delegates to give preferential treatment to their best customers.


During a presentation on customer relationship marketing, he said the best clients must get the best treatment and be made to feel special.


“The average company loses half its customers every five years,” he said.


“It costs five times as much to acquire a customer as to keep one.”
