ABTA seeks extra PSCpay

ABTAhas written to British Airways and Lufthansa seeking additional compensation for agents in the Passenger Service Charge case.

Following the Court of Appeal’s decision that the airlines must pay commission on PSC charged in the UK, (Travel Weekly May 22), ABTAhead of legal affairs Riccardo Nardi said a similar court victory for German agents now has additional implications in this country.

Following the German ruling, ABTA is asking the airlines to pay commission on German PSC charges to UK agents.

ABTA is also poised to target BA and Aer Lingus on PSC levied on Irish flights.
