n millennium and copthorne new site


Millennium and Copthorne Hotels has launched an Internet site, www.stay.with-us.com. The new site outlines the group’s worldwide operations and allows travel agents, customers and also hotel personnel to access a wide range of information about its properties.


n pegasus appoints new managing director


Dallas-based hotel transaction processing company Pegasus Solutions has appointed Geoff Andrew as senior vice-president and managing director for the Summit Hotels and Resorts brand. Andrew was previously seniorvice-president in the Americas for Summit, which was owned by REZsolutions until the latter was acquired by Pegasus.


n lastminute.com signs new agreements


Lastminute.com has signed partnership agreements with Choice Hotels, Utell and Gran Caribe – Cuba’s largest hotel group. The deals will add an extra 11,000 properties to lastminute.com’s portfolio. The new inventory goes live on the site from mid-June.


n phocuswright opens new london office


Internet travel research company PhoCusWright has opened a London office in order to exploit the growth of on-line travel sites in Europe. The Connecticut-based company provides research, offers consultation on strategy and organises events. The new office is in Kingston-Upon-Thames in Surrey.


n rainbow network to carry out travel survey


Gay and lesbian Web site www.RainbowNetwork.com is carrying out a survey which covers the topics of travel and destinations. One thousand people in its target market will be surveyed.


n Web site launch for discover new england


Discover New England has launched a Web site – www.discovernewengland.org which has a section on the services available to the trade, including agent training, itinerary planning and useful hints and tips about the region.
